Luddite Limerick

When I see someone slick with their marketing tricks 

My ears get blocked up and my feet become bricks.

In a world that is constantly pushing the bounds

I quite look out of place trying to slow these things down.

And so,

Lest I be labeled a luddite and completely left behind,

I try to keep these twenty words in my mind:

Fear not progress;

Unless

It brings less

Of things that are best–

Like Beauty

And joy

And faith

And rest
